\,11th„ <br /> • <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII <br /> ;� ''�=��' � • STATE OF HAWAII <br /> ; . ; <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 612 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF FURNITURE <br /> FOR THE OFFICE OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY <br /> DEVELOPMENT <br /> WHEREAS, the Hapuna Prince Hotel is donating an furniture as indicated <br /> in Exhibit A with a total value estimated at $6,180 to the Office of Housing and <br /> Community Development; and <br /> WHEREAS, this equipment will be used for the transitional units and the <br /> community center at Ulu Wini; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter <br /> provides that the Council, on behalf of the County, may accept gifts of donations <br /> of money, securities or other personal property or of real estate or any interest in <br /> real estate, and Chapter 2, Article 30, Section 2-162 (a) of the Hawaii County <br /> Code states that any gifts or donations of money, securities, or personal property <br /> which fall within the capitalization procedures of the Department of Finance, may <br /> be accepted by resolution approved by the Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Office of Housing and Community Development <br /> recommends the acceptance of this donation; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII <br /> that in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter, <br /> and Chapter 2, Article 30, Section 2-162(a) of the Hawaii County Code, the <br /> Council of the County of Hawaii accepts this donation. <br />
