J <br /> Leo \,�•: . <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII *_ k-'°�-=%�'_/1t- STATE OF HAWAII <br /> *E74::1."!:---: <br /> S <br /> RESOLUITION NO. 625 18 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT'S COMMUNITY <br /> POLICING UNIT IN COUNCIL DISTRICT 2. <br /> WHEREAS, the mission of the County of Hawai`i Police Department, Community <br /> Policing Unit, is to work cooperatively with the community to enforce laws,preserve peace, and <br /> provide a safe environment; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Community Policing Unit provides outreach to the various communities <br /> in Hawai`i County, including but not limited to Council District 2; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Police Department is requesting funds for necessary materials and <br /> supplies for its Community Policing Unit for the community outreach program in Council <br /> District 2; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 2 will be appropriated to the Police Department <br /> for the Community Policing Unit in Council District 2. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $900 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $900 <br /> CREDITED TO: Police Department $900 <br /> 010.201.5207.02 So Hilo Police—OCE <br /> 235 Misc Materials & Sup <br /> (Community Policing Community <br /> Outreach—District 2) <br />
