The proposed Draft 2 <br /> incorporates the new cost items for the UPW raises that have been transmitted to the Council by <br /> Mayor Yamashiro. <br /> The proposed Draft 2 also includes language that makes it clear that the cost items include the <br /> excluded employees in Bargaining Unit 61. It also includes language that more accurately <br /> describes changes to the original contract agreement via the "Memorandum of Agreement" <br /> described at our last Council meeting when considering this Resolution. The last substantive <br /> addition is a new Whereas statement that specifically states what the estimated settlement costs <br /> to the County will be in Fiscal Year 1999-2000. The proposed Draft 2 also deletes four Whereas <br /> statements which are misleading or not accurate. <br /> Lastly, the proposed Draft 2 makes a few non-substantive changes to correct typographical and <br /> punctuation errors in the original Resolution. For your convenience, I have also attached a <br /> Ramseyer version of Draft 2 so that changes to the original Resolution can be more easily seen.
