REQUEST: <br /> • <br /> We are requesting the Council's permission to increase the total amount of State funds accepted for the <br /> "Agricultural Crimes Project" from the Hawaii State Department of Agriculture by $106,789 which will <br /> increase the total from $92,000 to $198,789. <br /> The original State contrct number is 65707 dated 5/2/2017. The revenue account affected is 010.3305.94 <br /> and the expense account affected is 010.271.5272.04 <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> For the FY18 budget the County Council approved the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney to appropriate <br /> funds totaling $92,000. For FY19, the continuation of the Agricultural Crimes Project program, the <br /> Department of Agriculture is transferring an aditional $106,789 which increases the total to $198,789.
