required by the Department of Public Works, at no cost to the County, any <br /> transportation system improvements to Kilauea Avenue that may be deemed <br /> necessary by the Department of Public Works. <br /> O. All development-generated runoff shall be disposed of on site and shall not be <br /> directed toward any adjacent properties. <br /> P. All earthwork activity shall conform to Chapter 10, Erosion and Sedimentation <br /> Control of the Hawai`i County Code. <br /> Q. A drainage study shall be prepared by a licensed civil engineer and submitted to <br /> the Department of Public Works prior to issuance of a construction permit. Any <br /> recommended drainage improvements, if required, shall be constructed meeting <br /> with the approval of the Department of Public Works prior to receipt of a <br /> Certificate of Occupancy. <br /> R. Construction and/or the conversion of the dwellings into office use or other uses <br /> within the designated flood zone shall conform to Chapter 27, Flood Control, of <br /> the Hawaii County Code and the flood zone boundaries as depicted by the State <br /> of Hawai`i, Department of Land and Natural Resources, Flood Hazard <br /> Assessment Tool (http://gis.hawaiinfip.org/FHAT). No additional structure shall <br /> be built in the AE zone or shaded Zone X Flood Zones. Such construction in the <br /> areas currently mapped in the AE or shaded X Flood Zones shall be allowed if the <br /> owner secures a letter of map revision. <br /> S. Sewer lines shall be installed within the development to connect with the County's <br /> sewer system, meeting with the approval of the Department of Environmental <br /> Management, and prior to the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy. <br /> -10- <br />
