Page 2 <br />.B. NO. <br />1 "§328J®15 County ordinances. (a) Nothing in this chapter <br />2 shall be construed to supersede or in any manner affect a county <br />3 smoking ordinance and the ability of any county to adopt and <br />4 enforce additional local laws or ordinances that regulate the <br />5 sale of cigarettes, tobacco products, and electronic smoking <br />6 devices; provided that the ordinance is at least as protective <br />7 of the rights of nonsmokers as this chapter." <br />8 (b) Nothing in this chapter shall prohibit a county <br />9 from enacting ordinances more stringent than this chapter. <br />10 SECTION 3. Statutory material to be repealed is bracketed <br />11 and stricken. New statutory material is underscored. <br />12 SECTION 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. <br />13 <br />
