REQUEST: <br /> The Department of Labor and Industrial Relations has allocated Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act <br /> (WIOA) funds to the County of Hawaii for the Adult and Dislocated Workers Program that will provide <br /> services to train individuals to increase employment, retention, earnings, skills and literacy. <br /> The County of Hawaii wishes to enter into an agreement with the State of Hawaii, University of Hawaii, <br /> Hawaii Community College (HCC) to operate the Adult and Dislocated Workers Program. <br /> Requesting a resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an intergovernmental agreement with the State of <br /> Hawaii, University of Hawaii, Hawaii Community College to administer the Adult and Dislocated Workers <br /> Program. <br /> B.
