REQUEST: <br /> Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a multi-year lease agreement for a period of five (5) years for a <br /> Compact Track Loader with Auger Drill Hydraulic Hammer Attachment for the Department of Parks and <br /> Recreation Parks Maintenance Division. <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> The Compact Track Loader will replace an older and aging model with high usage and in need of frequent <br /> repairs and has become hard to find replacement parts. A newer model will have more efficient features and <br /> won't damage turf. The Compact Track Loader will be used for maintenance island-wide <br /> rubber tracks that p <br /> 9 <br /> as well as disaster debris removal. <br /> The Compact Track Loader will be leased for a period of five (5) years. The purchase price is estimated at <br /> $85,550. The estimated monthly cost for the lease is $1,477. <br /> Funding for the lease is included in the FY 2018-2019 Budget.
