Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Re: Operating Budget <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating an additional <br /> $5,547 into the Office of Housing and Community Development's Workforce Innovation and <br /> Opportunity Act (WIOA) accounts. This appropriation reflects funding allocations received from <br /> the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations for the Program Year (PY) 2017 which had an <br /> original appropriation of$1,521,232. <br /> This bill appropriates these additional funds into four 2017-18 WIOA accounts (Administration <br /> Planning, Adult Program, Dislocated Worker Program, and Youth Program), bringing the total <br /> appropriation to $1,526,779.
