REQUEST: <br /> Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a multi-year lease agreement for a period of five (5) years for a <br /> Crawler Dozer for the Department of Parks and Recreation Parks Maintenance Division. <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> The Crawler Dozer will be used for ground maintenance and projects island-wide and will be utilized <br /> frequently. The Department is currently renting a crawler dozer monthly so a capital lease will be more cost <br /> effective. <br /> The Crawler Dozer will be leased for a period of five (5) years. The purchase price is estimated at $150,000. <br /> The estimated monthly cost for the lease is $2,654. <br /> Funding for the lease is included in the FY 2018-2019 Budget.
