The Federal Emergency Management • <br /> Agency (FEMA) is providing funds to be used for the repair of these damages. FEMA will <br /> cover 75% of the cost, with the remaining 25% of costs are to be provided by the County. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance to add the project titled"Hurricane Lane Damage <br /> Projects" and to appropriate $ 49,228,300 to the Capital Budget for this project of which <br /> $ 36,921,225 is provided by FEMA and$ 12,307,075 by the County. We are requesting <br /> that this bill be waived from the Finance Committee,and be placed on the January 9, 2019 <br /> Council Agenda in-order to expedite the receipt of these funds.
