No. 42 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 9:05 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Public Safety, to which was referred Communication No. 42, reports as <br /> follows: <br /> Communication No. 42, transmitted by Mayor Harry Kim, dated December 19, 2018, nominates <br /> Ronald Ibarra to the Liquor Commission. <br /> Mr. Ibarra stated a few words expressing his willingness to serve on this commission and thanks <br /> Mayor Harry Kim for the nomination. Mr. Ibarra stated that before he was a judge he was active <br /> in the community and county. He was previously involved with the County as its Corporation <br /> Counsel, Managing Director, and at the Prosecutor's Office. He enjoys working with people and <br /> is happy to participate with communities again. <br /> Council Members expressed their thanks, appreciation, and strong support of Mr. Ibarra's <br /> nomination.
