The <br />subject property is located on Manono Street, approximately 185 feet south of its intersection with <br />Hualam Street, Waiakea Houselots, South Hilo, Hawaii, TMK: (3) 2-2-034:086. <br />PROPOSED ACTION <br />1. Applicant's Request/Project Description: A Change of Zone from a Single -Family <br />Residential -10,000 square feet (RS -10) to a Neighborhood Commercial -20,000 square <br />feet (CN -20) zoning district in order to develop a paved parking lot for tenant employees <br />and overflow parking for customers of the Manono Street Marketplace adjacent to the <br />south of the subject property. <br />2. Timetable/Cost: The applicant intends to commence constriction and infrastructure <br />improvements immediately upon securing development approvals and pen -nits. The cost <br />of construction is estimated at more than $100,000. <br />3. Supportive Information: The applicant has submitted the attached in support of the <br />request: (Planning Department Exhibit 1 - Change of Zone Application Received <br />August 7, 2018) <br />4. Landowners: GHC Family Limited Partnership <br />STATE AND COUNTY PLANS <br />5. State Land Use Designation: Urban. <br />6. General Plan Designation: Medium -Density Urban. <br />7. Hilo Community Development Plan: The Hilo Community Development Plan adopted <br />by Resolution No. 1 on May 21, 1975 designates this area as RM -4 <br />
