Heintz to the Board of Ethics. <br /> Since 2010, Mr. Heintz has been an Emeritus Professor of Philosophy after being a part <br /> of the University of Hawai'i at Hilo faculty for 30 years. He also serves as a Consulting <br /> Medical Ethicist at Hawai'i Medical Center. Mr. Heintz earned a Doctor of Philosophy <br /> degree from the University of California, Santa-Barbara. <br /> Between 1996 and 1998, Mr. Heintz'served on the Governor's Blue Ribbon Panel on <br /> Death with Dignity in Hawaii and currently sits as a member of the Board of Trustees <br /> for Hawai'i Medical Center Foundation. <br /> Mr. Heintz indicates that he is not a member of any political party.
