COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />58 19 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN <br />INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF HAWAII, HAWAII <br />PUBLIC HOUSING AUTHORITY, AND AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT FOR A <br />MULTI-YEAR CONTRACT FOR THE USE OF THE KEA`AU NUTRITION CENTER — <br />HALE ALOHA O PUNA LOCATED AT 16-189 PILI MUA STREET, KEA`AU, <br />HAWAII 96749, TAX MAP KEY NO. 1-6-143:35. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII. <br />WHEREAS, the State of Hawaii, Hawaii Public Housing Authority is the owner of the <br />Kea`au Nutrition Center — Hale Aloha O Puna, 16-189 Pili Mua Street, Kea`au, Hawaii 96749, <br />Tax Map Key No. 1=6-143:35; and <br />WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii, Department of Parks and Recreation desires to enter <br />into an agreement for a multi-year period to use this facility for various activities for the <br />neighborhood community such as: congregate dining, information and assistance, classes and <br />workshops, and meetings and assessments; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 46-7 this Council's consent is <br />required to enter into this intergovernmental agreement for use of this State facility; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the Hawaii County Charter requires that any contract, <br />lease or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year <br />or of more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, that the <br />Mayor, pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 46-7 and Section 10-11 of the Hawaii <br />
