REQUEST: <br /> Change in position's full time equivalency to 1/2 time. <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> Liquor Control Investigator II position #00-02118 is currently a vacant, full time position in West Hawaii. <br /> The position grade is SR-18. This position is funded. The incumbent to this position was promoted to Liquor <br /> Control Investigator III, SR-21.. West Hawaii has a majority of the liquor dispensers in the County. Most <br /> alcohol dispenser business takes places in the evening and specifically during the weekends. The creation <br /> of two (2) halftime positions for this purpose would provide better services to our liquor licensees and to the <br /> public. Funds that would cover the salary for one full time employee can cover two (2) half time positions.
