Purpose. The purpose of this ordinance is to adopt the North Kohala <br /> Community Development Plan (attached hereto as Appendix A, as amended to Draft 2) pursuant <br /> to the County of Hawai`i General Plan. Section 15.1 (February 2005 as amended). <br /> SECTION 2. Adoption. Chapter 16, section 16-2, Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005 <br /> Edition, as amended), is amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 16-2. Adoption of community development plans. The <br /> community development plans listed below are adopted and incorporated by <br /> reference. A copy of the plans and amendments shall be available for public <br /> inspection at the Planning Department. <br /> NORTH KOHALA. The document identified as "North Kohala <br /> Community Development Plan" is adopted by reference subject to later <br /> amendments by ordinance, and may be cited as the "North Kohala CDP." The <br /> planning area for the North Kohala CDP encompasses the judicial district of <br /> North Kohala. <br /> SECTION 3. Severence. In the event that any portion of this ordinance is declared <br /> invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the other parts of this ordinance. <br /> SECTION 4. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is <br /> underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed and stricken material, and <br /> underscoring need not be included. <br />
