The Department seeks to enter into a five (5) year lease <br /> extension with an option for an additional two (2) years. <br /> Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the County to enter into a five-year, multi-year lease <br /> agreement with Maui Varieties Investments, Inc. to continue using this location for the <br /> Na`alehu ambulance unit of the County of Hawai`i Fire Department. The anticipated rent <br /> shall be $1,845.16 per month. <br /> The Finance Department's Property Management Division requests that this resolution be <br /> waived from the Finance Committee, and be placed on the April 24, 2019 Council <br /> Agenda in order to expedite this transaction.
