Additional federally-derived funds in the amount of$39,197 is <br /> being provided by the State of Hawai`i Department of the Attorney General to fund a portion of <br /> the salary expenses for a Deputy Prosecutor in the Office of the.Prosecuting Attorney. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating these <br /> additional funds into the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney's Violence Against Women account, <br /> bringing the total appropriation to $98,197. <br /> The Office of the Prosecuting Attorney is requesting that this bill be waived from the Finance <br /> Committee and be placed on the April 24, 2019 Council agenda in order to expedite the receipt of <br /> these funds.
