REQUEST: <br /> Request a bill for an Ordinance to increase revenues and appropriate funds: <br /> Increase revenue account 090.3609.11 Transfer from General Fund by $180,000 • <br /> Appropriate to 090.561.5561.01.011 Golf Course S&W, Regular S&W$15,000 <br /> Appropriate to 090.561.5561.02.115 Golf Course S&W, Misc. Contract Services $165,000 <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> A separate bill is being requested to transfer$180,000 out from the Department of Parks and Recreation <br /> P&R Admin account to the Transfer to Golf Course Fund. The transfer is needed to cover the shortfall in <br /> revenues for the Golf Course largely due to inclement weather experienced in 2018 as well as Salary <br /> expenditures being higher than expected. Roughly 235 inches of rain fell on the golf course in 2018 which is <br /> significantly higher than normal. <br /> Council action is requested to amend the Golf Course Fund budget by increasing revenues and <br /> appropriating funds to the Salaries and Wages and Other Current Expenditures accounts. <br /> The department requests that this bill be waived from Finance Committee and proceed directly for Council's <br /> review. <br /> SIGNED: DATE: <br /> Departure t Heat • <br /> County of Hawaii is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer <br />
