BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> In 1999, Henry Clark donated an 8 acre parcel identified at TMK 3-6-2:007:001 to the County of Hawaii for <br /> use as a community park. Ka'ahahui o Ka Nahelehele, a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization entered into a <br /> Friends of the Park agreement with the Department of Parks and Recreation for the development of a <br /> management plan for the proposed park within `Ouli/Lalamilo Ahupua'a near Waimea. <br /> Ka'ahahui o Ka Nahelehele would like to plant native Hawaiian plants and install a water irriation system to <br /> connect the proposed community park to County water supply.
