REQUEST: <br /> Prepare County Council submittal authorizing the County of Hawaii Finance Department to enter into a <br /> Lease Agreement for a five year extension to utilize the premises for the Prosecuting Attorney's Waimea <br /> Office. <br /> Due to time constraints, the Department of Finance requests that a breach be authorized to submit this <br /> resolution after the May 30, 2019 submission deadline, and to waive it from the Finance Committee in order <br /> to be placed on the June 19, 2019 Council agenda. <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> The County of Hawaii Prosecuting Attorney currently utilizes the premises consisting of two (2) 600 square <br /> feet units owned by Starr Equities, Inc., identified as a portion of tax map key (3) 6-4-006:006 for the Waimea <br /> Prosecuting Attorney's Office. The County has occupied the premises to serve the North and South Kohala <br /> and Hamakua district community since 2004.
