Gyotoku PHONE: 808 961 .8379 <br /> A REQUEST: <br /> We request to amend Ordinance 19-73, the 2019-2420 Operating Budget to increase the Ouli Ekahi Housing <br /> Project by $225,000 as follows, <br /> The Office of Housing and Community Development is requesting the appropriation of$225,000 to the Oull <br /> Ekahi Housing Project (Account Number 158.3609;55) using its fund balance and to cover the expenditure <br /> account number 158.461.5468.02.110 <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION(USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> The increase in appropriation using the Ouli Ekahi Fund Balance is to pay a portion of the roof repairs, The <br /> roof at Ouli Ekahi Housing Project is in dire need of repairs and has suffered damage due to high winds and <br /> rain. The Office of Housing and Community Development will repair all of the roofing to avoid continuously <br /> doing band aid fixes.
