..JO,tYOsk,1,r <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII , , r,►,-\,�!=#- STATE OF HAWAII <br /> ...'f'•�M MO�.';- <br /> ,,,__ •NF's <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 236 19 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL <br /> YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR MULTI-YEAR LEASES OF REAL <br /> PROPERTY FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAII DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION <br /> TECHNOLOGY AND OFFICE OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br /> WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease or other <br /> obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year of more than one <br /> fiscal year be approved by resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii Department of Information Technology and Office of <br /> Housing and Community Development currently rents office, storage and warehouse space identified <br /> as a portion of TMK: (3) 2-2-040:036, Units 102, 104, 105 and warehouse, situated at 1990 Kino`ole <br /> Street, District of South Hilo, County and State of Hawaii, and owned by Kaneshiro & Sons <br /> Enterprise, Limited and Glenn Kaneshiro Partnership ("Landlords"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii Department of Information Technology and Office of <br /> Housing and Community Development continues to need these rental spaces for the near future and so <br /> desires to enter into five year lease agreements commencing on July 1, 2019, for a five year term <br /> ending June 30, 2024, with an additional five year option, with Landlords; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii Department of Information Technology and Office of <br /> Housing and Community Development are requesting authorization for the Mayor to enter into multi- <br /> year lease agreements with Landlords for these rental spaces; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br /> Honorable Harry Kim, Mayor of the County of Hawaii, is hereby authorized to enter into multi-year <br />
