:417-57 k;� <br /> ,. <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII i• �t',:',1/_# STATE OF HAWAII <br /> .... .t.7;i•i§:;'--; <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 248 19 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR EQUIPMENT FOR THE HAWAII FIRE <br /> DEPARTMENT. <br /> WHEREAS, the Hawai`i Fire Department provides residents and visitors of Hawai`i <br /> County with mitigation of vast array of hazardous emergency incidents; and <br /> WHEREAS, there is an ever-growing demand for fire and emergency services due to the <br /> diversity of emergency incidents across Hawai`i Island; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Hawai`i Fire Department provides fire protection and suppression, land- <br /> and sea-search and rescue, pre-hospital emergency medical services, ocean safety, fire <br /> prevention and public education for the County of Hawai`i; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Hawai`i Fire Department is requesting funds for essential fire <br /> equipment to improve departmental readiness in its emergency and hazard responses; now, <br /> therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 6 will be appropriated to the Hawai`i Fire <br /> Department for fire station equipment for the Hawai`i Fire Department. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $8,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $8,000 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.221.5221.10 Hawai`i Fire Department $8,000 <br /> Fire Protection-Eqpt <br /> 457 Fire Station Eqpt <br /> (Hawai`i Fire Department— <br /> Fire Station Equipment) <br />
