REQUEST: <br /> This is a request to accept a donation of$1,500 from Ulupono Fund, (Ulupono Initiative), for the purpose of <br /> offsetting travel cost to attend the Rocky Mountain Institute Mobility Innovation Lab Project Accelerator <br /> Workshop, (8/5 - 8/8 2019). Unused funds for this purpose shall be returned to Hawaii Community <br /> Foundation. <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED: <br /> The grant goes toward a workshop that seeks to focus on advancing innovative mechanisms advance clean <br /> transportation in the County of Hawaii. Focus areas include- Electrifying Fleets, Innovative Financing and <br /> Business Models, Regulatory Reform and Rate Design, EVs as Distributed Energy Resources. The <br /> workshop consists of teams representing critical project stakeholders and partners.
