J�YYosN�' <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> EOF N' <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 255 19 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A <br /> DONATION OF FUNDS TO BE USED TOWARDS TRAVEL AND <br /> OTHER EXPENSES TO ATTEND THE 2019 CRIMES AGAINST <br /> CHILDREN CONFERENCE TO THE COUNTY OF HAWAII <br /> POLICE DEPARTMENT. <br /> WHEREAS, the Children's Justice Center of West Hawaii is donating funds to <br /> the County of Hawaii Police Department for travel and other expenses to attend 2019 <br /> Crimes Against Children Conference; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii has been invited to send a Juvenile Aid <br /> Section Officer to the conference for training; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii Police Department recommends approval of <br /> this donation by Children's Justice Center of West Hawaii; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, provides that <br /> the council, on behalf of the county, may accept gifts of donations of money, securities, or <br /> other personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate; now therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, , in <br /> accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, the County of <br /> Hawaii, accepts this donation. <br />
