-01 OF k, <br /> 1 <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII � '��' r • <br /> ` • �'��� STATE OF HAWAI`I <br /> TEOF;0- <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> 26i ±9 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A <br /> DONATION OF FUNDS TO BE USED TOWARDS TRAVEL AND <br /> OTHER EXPENSES FOR THE ATTENDANCE OF THE HAWAIIAN <br /> FESTIVAL IN YURIHAMA, JAPAN. <br /> WHEREAS, the town of Yurihama, Japan is donating funds to the County of <br /> Hawaii Office of the Mayor for travel and other expenses to attend the Hawaiian <br /> Festival in Yurihama, Japan; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii Office of the Mayor recommends <br /> approval of this donation by the town of Yurihama, Japan; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, provides <br /> that the council, on behalf of the county, may accept gifts of donations of money, <br /> securities, or other personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate; <br /> now therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, in <br /> accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, the <br /> County of Hawaii, accepts this donation. <br />
