ADO 1.9 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO ASSIST WITH HOSTING CRIMINAL JUSTICE <br /> RELATED WORKSHOPS AND TRAININGS. <br /> WHEREAS, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney is agency responsible for <br /> prosecuting all violations of State and County laws, rules, and/or regulations on behalf of the <br /> Hawai`i Island community, and seeks to improve the criminal justice system by identifying areas <br /> of need and working collaboratively with other criminal justice agencies and the community; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney coordinates workshops and trainings <br /> for criminal justice professionals, service providers, and the public to stay informed of best <br /> practices, promote innovative and enhanced processes, and provide opportunities to work in. <br /> partnership with one another for improved service delivery to the public; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney is requesting funds to supplement its <br /> workshop and training budget for expenses, to include facility rental and refreshments, that are <br /> not covered by an external funding source, such as grants; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 4 will be appropriated to the Office of the <br /> Prosecuting Attorney to provide funds to assist with hosting criminal justice related workshops <br /> and conferences. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $1,500 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $1,500 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.271.5271.02 Office of the Prosecuting Attorney $1,500 <br /> Prosecuting Atty OCE <br /> 115 Misc.
