-'NAY of p� <br /> 4 vd4: <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> art o;.M'� <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 287 19 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR SIGNAGE FOR THE KEAUKAHA-PANA`EWA <br /> FARMERS ASSOCIATION NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH. <br /> WHEREAS,Neighborhood Watch is a program of the Police Department that helps to <br /> organize concerned citizens to reduce criminal activities in residential areas; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Keaukaha-Pana`ewa Farmers Association Neighborhood Watch (KPFA <br /> Neighborhood Watch) is a community-led organization that works in partnership with the Police <br /> Department to reduce crime in the Pana`ewa Farm Lots area; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Police Department is requesting funding assistance to purchase and <br /> install Neighborhood Watch signs for the KPFA Neighborhood Watch; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Police Department supports actively involving the community in crime <br /> prevention programs; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated to the Police Department <br /> to provide Neighborhood Watch signage for the Keaukaha-Pana`ewa Farmers Association <br /> Neighborhood Watch. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $250 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $250 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.201.5203.02 Police Department $250 <br /> Police Adm Div—OCE <br /> 225 Educ-Recr-Scientif <br /> (KPFA Neighborhood Watch— Signs) <br />
