BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> The Waimaauau Stream Bridge (Bridge No. 28-1) is an old bridge built in the 1930s with reinforced concrete <br /> slab overlayed with gravel and topped with asphaltic concrete (a.c.) pavement.
