In the current <br /> fiscal year, $55,000 is appropriated for this grant account. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating these <br /> additional funds into the SAFE Program grant account, bringing the total grant appropriation to <br /> $354,824. <br /> The Police Department requests that this bill be waived from the Finance Committee and be placed <br /> on the September 18, 2019 Council agenda in order to expedite the receipt of these funds.
