'�tY OF N ' <br /> .w <br /> • - �I Jif ', <br /> ` � �‘'�� � HA AI`I <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII : • :'-;\'A_•- STATE OF HAW <br /> API <br /> NO. 3i'7 19 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PROVIDE A GRANT TO KEAUKAHA SCHOOL <br /> FOUNDATION TO ASSIST WITH EXPENSES RELATED TO THE INSTALLATION <br /> OF TWO WATER STATIONS AT KEAUKAHA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. <br /> WHEREAS, Keaukaha School Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that <br /> supports the students and programs of Keaukaha Elementary School; and <br /> WHEREAS, in an effort to support clean living, ensure adequate hydration, and decrease <br /> dependence on unhealthy beverage and lifestyle choices, the administration of Keaukaha <br /> Elementary School is installing two drinking and bottle-refilling water stations on its campus; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, Keaukaha School Foundation is requesting funding assistance to purchase, <br /> ship, install, and connect the water stations at Keaukaha Elementary School; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Liquor Control supports public and youth programs, <br /> whether through education, enforcement, or activities that promote compliance with liquor laws <br /> and responsible drinking; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2-139(a)(2)(A) of the Hawai`i County Code, <br /> Contingency Relief funds shall be transferred to an accepting County department/agency via <br /> resolution identifying the nonprofit organization and the specific program, project, event, <br /> activity, service, equipment, materials, or supplies for which the grant shall be used; now, <br /> therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated to the Department of <br /> Liquor Control to provide a grant to Keaukaha School Foundation to assist with expenses <br /> relating to the installation of two water stations at Keaukaha Elementary School. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br />
