+tvosk,;' <br /> .!r <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII •i ' '5;\:A"I.- STATE OF HAWAII <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 321 19 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR OVERTIME WAGES <br /> FOR EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES PERSONNEL WORKING THE <br /> 26th ANNUAL KWXX HO`OLAULE`A. <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawai`i, in conjunction with KWXX FM and other entities, <br /> continues its ongoing efforts to educate and build awareness of the culture and history of Hawai`i <br /> Island through the 26th Annual KWXX Ho`olaule`a, a drug-free, alcohol-free, family-friendly, <br /> live-music block party that is free and open to the public; and <br /> WHEREAS, the 26th Annual KWXX Ho`olaule`a was held in Hilo on September 28, <br /> 2019, and drew thousands of revelers from around Hawai`i Island; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Hawai`i Fire Department has requested funds to assist with overtime <br /> expenses for Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel who needed to be on hand for public <br /> safety; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 2 will be appropriated to the Hawai`i Fire <br /> Department to provide funding for overtime wages for EMS personnel working the 26th Annual <br /> KWXX Ho`olaule`a. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $2,200 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $2,200 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.221.5221.01 Hawai`i Fire Department $2,200 <br /> Fire Protection S&W <br /> 021 Overtime S&W <br /> (EMS Overtime - 26th Annual <br /> KWXX Ho`olaule`a) <br />
