Justice, Office of Justice Programs. Funds will be used by the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney <br /> to support innovative prosecution solutions for combatting violent crimes. <br /> Enclosed is a resolution to enter into an agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of <br /> Justice Programs to accept these funds. Also enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the <br /> Operating Budget by appropriating this $360,000 grant. <br /> The Office of the Prosecuting Attorney requests that this bill be waived from the Finance <br /> Committee and be placed on the October 2, 2019 Council agenda in order to expedite the receipt of <br /> these funds.
