Western Interstate Region (WIR) Report 1. Council Member Ross Kagawa moved to file the WIR report, with a second by Council Member Tamara Paltin. The motion carried unanimously. 2. BUSINESSV NEW A. 2020 Legislative Packet Timeline Overview: Sept. 11, 2019- Deadline for Counties to submit proposals to be included in 2020 HSAC Legislative Package. Sept. 20, 2019-Schedule HSAC Executive Committee meeting to discuss and act on all proposals submitted by the Counties. Approved proposals will be forwarded to each County for their consideration. Nov. 27, 2019- Deadline for Counties to approve the proposed 2020 HSAC Legislative Package. Dec. 11, 2019-Schedule HSAC Committee meeting to approve the 2020 HSAC Legisla- tive Package. 1. Council Member Val Poindexter noted that Recker Communication developed a more detailed calendar, with PR recommendations, and what should happen and when. She suggested having Scot Ishikawa at next meeting to weigh in on development of the legislative package and noted that he is paid based on when he is actually at HSAC meetings.
