REQUEST: <br /> To enter into a multi-year lease agreement for 60 months with Lenovo Financial Services for 150 Panasonic <br /> Tough Books CF-54 mobile data terminals (MDTs). <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> The Hawaii Police Department would like to obtain a 60 month lease for 150 new Panasonic Tough Book <br /> CF-54 mobile data terminals (MDTs). These are to be issued as replacements to the current Legacy MDTs <br /> in circulation and which are outdated and do not support FirstNet Band 14 priority communications. These <br /> new CF-54 MDTs will help Officers to improve rMponse times and allow them to work in the field without <br /> having to respond to a station to complete tasks. The lease agreement would allow HPD to purchase the <br /> required amount of CF-54 MDTs to get half of the force outfitted with updated mobile data terminals . <br /> Total purchase of this 60 month lease shall not exceed $450,000.00 <br /> SIGNED: DATE: OCT 15 Z019 <br /> Department Head <br /> 1421f.4 <br />
