....... <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> it` Me;:�'.• <br /> tE OF NI, _. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 401 19 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A <br /> DONATION OF FUNDS TO BE USED TOWARDS TRAVEL AND <br /> OTHER EXPENSES TO ATTEND THE ADVANCED <br /> HOMICIDENIOLENT CRIME INVESTIGATOR COURSE TO THE <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII POLICE DEPARTMENT. <br /> WHEREAS, the International Homicide Investigators Association (IHIA) is <br /> donating funds to the County of Hawaii Police Department for travel and other <br /> expenses to attend the Advanced HomicideNiolent Crime Investigator Course in <br /> Las Vegas, Nevada; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii has been invited to send a Police Officer <br /> to this training; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii Police Department recommends <br /> approval of this donation by the IHIA; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, provides <br /> that the council, on behalf of the county, may accept gifts of donations of money, <br /> securities, or other personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate; <br /> now therefore, <br />
