Funds will be used by the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney to support their 2019 SAKI <br /> Investigation and Prosecution program. <br /> Enclosed is a resolution to enter into an agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice to accept <br /> these funds. Also enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by <br /> appropriating this $769,895 grant. <br /> The Office of the Prosecuting Attorney requests that this bill be waived from the Finance <br /> Committee and be placed on the November 20, 2019 Council agenda in order to expedite the <br /> receipt of these funds.
