Ms. Ambrogio <br /> graduated from Mills College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and from the New <br /> Jersey Law Enforcement Academy. She is a retired Chief of the Bergin County Sheriff <br /> Department in New Jersey. Since moving to Hawaii 17 years ago, Ms. Ambrogio has been <br /> active in volunteering in numerous community organizations. She is currently serving as the <br /> Community Safety Coordinator with the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney, as the Hawaii <br /> Island Coordinator with the Neighborhood Watch program, and is a liaison with the Community <br /> Policing, and Fire Commission. <br /> Ms. Ambrogio is honored and gave thanks to the Council for the opportunity to serve on the <br /> Police Commission. <br /> Council Members as a whole are in support of the nomination.
