Chung, Chairperson; and <br /> Members of the Hawaii County Council <br /> i <br /> FROM: Jon Henricks, County Clerk # <br /> SUBJECT: An Ordinance Amending Chapter 25, Article 5, Division 10, Section 25-5-102, of a <br /> the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, As Amended), Relating to <br /> Permitted Uses in the"CN"District. <br /> Please find attached a bill to amend chapter 25, article 5, division 10, section 25-5-102, of the <br /> Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as amended), relating to Permitted Uses in the"CN" <br /> district. <br /> This "housekeeping" bili restores an amendment to subsection 25-5-102(a) that was proposed in <br /> Bill No. 94. This change to subsection (a), added "amusement and recreation facilities, indoor" <br /> to the list of uses permitted in the CN district, and renumbered the uses that followed. A later <br /> section in the bill, SECTION 7,proposed amendments to section 25-5-102 but inadvertently left <br /> out the earlier changes made to subsection(a), thereby repealing them. <br /> According to Communication No. 450, that accompanied Bill No. 94, the bill was initiated by <br /> the Planning Director and favorably reviewed by the windward and leeward planning <br /> commissions.
