(B) If lot frontage is greater than thirty lineal feet, a wall sign shall not exceed fifteen percent of the total exposed area of the wall, associated with the business for which the sign is displayed, or twenty-two square feet,whichever is less.A sign on the face of the building for each business conducted on the premises shall not exceed fifteen percent of the area of the face of the building actually occupied by the business or twenty-two square feet, whichever is less. Variance Request: Sign 102 is thirty-three (33) square feet, Sign 103 is thirty-one(3 1)square feet and Sign 105 is seventy- seven (77) square feet, each exceeding the maximum of twenty-two(22)square feet/fifteen percent (15%)of exposed wall area HCC Section 3-58(a)(5)(B). The building facade on which these signs will be located is not directly adjacent or parallel to the property line and will be viewed at a severe angle from Henry St., further reducing the visual impact from the nearest public right-of-way. The overall wall area of Building 4(Safeway) frontage is approx. 8,000 sf.
