Adams of Council District 9 to the Environmental Management Commission. <br /> Nominee Adams was not present, however due to time constraints Chair Richards allowed the <br /> introduction with hopes to move it to Council with a positive recommendation. <br /> As introduced by Ms. Rose Bautista, Executive Assistant for Mayor Kim, Ms. Adams has been <br /> an island resident for the past 5 years, is a retired college professor and consultant in areas of <br /> environmental regulations and in environmental,health and safety management. Ms. Adams <br /> recently ended a term on the Solid Waste Advisory Committee. Ms. Adams in not affiliated with <br /> any political party and if confirmed, will fill a vacant term to end on December 31, 2024. <br /> Council Members noted nominees' qualifications and looks forward to hearing from Ms. Adams. <br /> Your Committee on Agriculture, Water, Energy, and Environmental Management is in accord <br /> with the purpose and intent of Communication 611 and recommends confirmation of the <br /> appointment of Georjean L.
