Hawaii County Energy Code Bill <br /> Annotated Draft <br /> 11/27/19 <br /> Note to the reader: <br /> This draft incorporates by reference, the International Energy Conservation Code, <br /> 2015 Edition, (JECQ into chapter 5 of the Hawai'i County Code. Proposed <br /> changes to the language of the IECC that have been incorporated into the Code, <br /> are indicated using brackets and strike outs for repeals and underscoring-for <br /> additions. Explanatory comments about the proposed amendments are included as <br /> well. <br /> SECTION 1. Chapter 5, article 4, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as <br /> amended), is repealed. <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 5, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as amended), is <br /> amended by adding a new article to be designated article 4, and to read as follows: <br /> "Article 4.
