No. 626 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo, Hawaii <br /> TIME: 9:05 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Public Safety, to which was referred Communication No. 626,reports as <br /> follows: <br /> Communication No. 626, transmitted by Mayor Harry Kim, dated November 14, 2019, <br /> nominates Anthony Sur to the Police Commission. <br /> Rose Bautista, Executive Assistant to the Mayor, introduced Anthony Sur. Mr. Sur is a board <br /> certified forensic dentist and is an graduate of the Punahou School, University of Washington, <br /> and Northwestern University of Dental School. <br /> Mr. Sur states that his intent is to work as a private citizen and has always been interested in <br /> investigative matters. Now that he has more time in his schedule he would like to try to improve <br /> the current system and to assist and give back to the community. <br /> Council Members as a whole are in support of the nomination.
