--JMtY OF.� <br /> 7.. <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII ''�-��'�!_• STATE OF HAWAII <br /> tE pf ! <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 430 i9 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A <br /> DONATION OF FUNDS TO BE USED TOWARDS THE EXPANSION <br /> OF THE COMMUNITY PARAMEDICINE PROGRAM TO THE <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII FIRE DEPARTMENT. <br /> WHEREAS, the West Hawaii Community Health Center, Inc. is donating <br /> funds to the County of Hawaii Fire Department for the expansion of the <br /> Community Paramedicine Program; and <br /> WHEREAS, these funds will be used to purchase durable medical equipment, <br /> purchase motor vehicles, fund education and training and fund software subscriptions; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii Fire Department recommends approval <br /> of this donation by West Hawaii Community Health Center, Inc.; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, provides <br /> that the Council, on behalf of the County, may accept gifts of donations of money, <br /> securities, or other personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate; <br /> now therefore, <br />
