�YY of p,'• <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> EOF% <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 439 20 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO ASSIST THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND <br /> RECREATION WITH EXPENSES RELATED TO THE HAWAII COUNTY BAND'S <br /> ISLAND-WIDE PERFORMANCES. <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation's Hawai`i County Band provides <br /> music for parades, concerts, festivals, ceremonies, and other special events throughout Hawai`i <br /> Island; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Hawai`i County Band includes the West Hawai`i Band, which performs <br /> principally in the Hamakua, Kohala, and Kona districts to provide musical enjoyment for <br /> residents and visitors; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funds to pay for <br /> music, supplies, equipment, and bus transportation for the Hawai`i County Band; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 8 will be appropriated to the Department of <br /> Parks and Recreation for expenses related to the Hawai`i County Band's island-wide <br /> performances. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $2,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $2,000 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.500.5501.02 Department of Parks and Recreation $2,000 <br /> Hawai`i County Band OCE <br /> 225 Educ-Recreation-Scient Supplies <br /> (Hawai`i County Band) <br />
