STATE OF HAWAII <br /> �TE'OF•HF'� <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 464 20 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A <br /> DONATION OF FUNDS TO BE USED TOWARDS TRAVEL AND <br /> OTHER EXPENSES TO ATTEND THE COLD CASE/NO-BODY <br /> HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION/PROSECUTION COURSE TO THE <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII POLICE DEPARTMENT. <br /> WHEREAS, the International Homicide Investigators Association is donating <br /> funds to the County of Hawaii Police Department for travel and other expenses to attend <br /> the Cold Case/No-Body Homicide Investigation/Prosecution Course; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii Police Department recommends approval of <br /> this donation by the International Homicide Investigators Association; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, provides that <br /> the council, on behalf of the county, may accept gifts of donations of money, securities, or <br /> other personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate; now therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, , in <br /> accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, the County of <br /> Hawaii, accepts this donation. <br />
