These funds are to be used for the planning, <br /> design, construction and dedication of an access road for the Kukuiola and Village 9 Affordable <br /> Rental Community located in North Kona. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance to add the project titled"Village 9 Homeless and Affordable <br /> Rental Project" and to appropriate $4,000,000 to the Capital Budget for this project. <br /> Due to the urgency of addressing homelessness issues,the Office of Management requests that <br /> breach be authorized to submit this resolution after the December 20, 2019 submission deadline <br /> and that it be waived from the Finance Committee and placed on the on the January 8, 2020 <br /> Council agenda.
