Additional federal funds in the amount of$82,585 are <br /> being provided by the State of Hawaii Department of Transportation to be used towards DUI j <br /> roadblock operations. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating these <br /> additional funds into the Hawaii County Police HCPD Roadblock Program Grant account, <br /> bringing the total appropriation to $282,585. <br /> The Police Department requests that this bill be waived from the Finance Committee and be placed <br /> on the February 19, 2020 Council agenda in order to expedite the receipt of these funds.
